Booking Information

Select the Start and End date for your booking.  If booking only one day, select the same day twice as the start and end date.  Bookings that are less than 24 hours, but intend to span over midnight, will require a two day selection.  

There is a minimum two day rental on peak season* weekends.  

For hourly rentals, please contact us directly.  Our hourly rates are: $50.00/first hour + $25.00/additional hour.  If booking by the hour will meet or exceed $150.00, please use the booking form on this website and select the full day. Dates shown in PURPLE or ORANGE may still be rented for the available part of that day.  Contact for assistance.

If providing or selling liquor, you are required to apply for a liquor license. Homemade wine, beer and cider are NOT allowed. For more details see FAQ's section.
Please note, there is a maximum capacity of 72 inside the hall for dining, beverage, and cafeteria involve liquor service.
A burn permit must be obtained for a campfire in an approved fire pit. The permit is available free of charge and must be obtained on or before the first day or the rental. See FAQ's section for more details.

Get answers to common questions about renting the Antler Hill Hall.

No, we do not charge more for the days our facilities are being used the entire day!  All the days get the same great rate.  There are hourly options available to check out below if there is a cost effective option that works for you.

You will receive hall access instructions by email, one (1) day before your rental date and only once BOTH your final payment and certificate of insurance (COI) have been received.    For day rentals, you may access the hall on the start day at any time for prep or decorating, you are not committed to the exact times you estimated in your booking form.  Likewise for leaving.  You have until midnight of the last rental day to leave. 

We offer both daily and hourly rates!

Daily Rental Rate: $150.00/day (Minimum two day rental on peak season* weekends)
Hourly Rental Rate: $50.00/first hour + $25.00/additional hour to cap off at $150.00. (No hourly rentals on peak season* weekends)  

If booking by the hour will meet or exceed $150.00, please use the booking form on this website and select the full day.  

*peak season: May through September

General liability event insurance is required for your event as detailed in the contract.  You will not be able to have access to the hall if your certificate of insurance (COI) has not been emailed to [email protected] before your rental date.  The certificate must list Antler Hill Community Association as the additional (or 3rd party) insured.

A burn permit must be obtained for a campfire in an approved fire pit.  The permit is available free of charge and must be obtained on or before the first day or the rental.  This is a requirement put forth by the Red Deer County Community Association.  Renters must comply with Red Deer County fire bans.  Firewood is not supplied; you are responsible for your own. Please do not bring pallets or wood with nails.

Our kitchen is supplied with hot and cold running water as well as the following:

  • stove
  • fridge
  • microwave
  • small deep freeze
  • two coffee urns (45 cup and 40 cup – supply your own coffee)
  • 2 waffle makers,
  • 2 hand mixers
  • A toaster
  • A limited amount of miscellaneous bowls, cutlery, ladles, pots, pans, trays and baking sheets (see photo gallery for details).
  • Indoor and outdoor garbage cans are supplied.  (Renters are required to take all garbage with them).

No, there is no power or water hookups available and no sewage disposal available.

There is just over one acre available for parking RVs, tents and trailers. The actually boundaries encompass 5 acres (which includes the bushes and trees, park, and building.

The parking of trailers and RVs is at the discretion of your group.  EXIT doors of the hall must not be blocked.  The daily rate is a flat fee and does not change depending on number of trailers or tents.

To confirm your date complete the following 2 things:

  1.  Go through the booking application on this website here.
  2.   Etransfer the $250.00 non refundable deposit.

The $250.00 booking fee will go towards your damage deposit. This $250.00 is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.  The remainder of the damage deposit and rental fee must be received prior to the event.

Payment can be made by Interac e-transfer to [email protected] (note: automatic deposit) or by cheque to Antler Hill Community Association.

Yes, the Full Deposit is refundable upon returning facility and grounds in good order.

The damage deposit will be returned to the renter within 30 days following the end of the function upon satisfactory return of the property in the same condition and key to the lockbox.  The damage deposit will be returned using the same method it came in, unless arrangements were made otherwise.

INDOORS
 Sweep main hall, kitchen and bathroom floors (supplies on stairwell landing)
 Mop main hall, kitchen and bathroom floors (cleaning solution with instructions provided under kitchen sink)
 Sweep and tidy basement (if used)
 Vacuum carpets by doorways
 Wipe down kitchen counters, fridge, stove, microwave and deep freeze
 Clean bathroom sink, toilet and urinal (supplies provided in cabinet)
 Clean outdoor toilet (if used)
 Hang used dishcloths/dishtowels on the side of the hamper by the cleaning supplies.
 Ensure all water taps are completely turned off
 Close all windows
 Press Run on the Thermostat
 Lock all three (3) doors from the outside and check to ensure all are locked (Panic hardware allows exit when locked)
 Return key to lockbox

OUTDOORS
 Pick up all garbage and cans around playground, yard, and fire pit
 Check fire pit and ensure fire is out
 Return horseshoes, basketball, sand toys, balls and games all to their respective bins
 Take all garbage with from inside and outdoor receptacles when leaving
 Return picnic tables to deck
 Remove all signage from roadways related to the function
 Close gates of the community centre.
